The Resource Centre

"For people living with disabilities, access to the right information is the first step to regaining independence."

The Resource Centre, located in the main lobby of The Rehabilitation Centre at 505 Smyth Road, is a partnership between The Rehabilitation Centre and The In Community.

The Centre provides information and resources to people with physical disabilities, their families and the community at large. It houses books, brochures, videos, and other materials covering disability related topics that range from advocacy to accessible housing and transportation.

Feedback from visitors to the Resource Centre is positive. As a recent visitor stated, "I wish it had been here twenty years ago when I needed it".

The Centre is open :

July - August: Mon. - Thurs., 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
September - June: Mon. - Thurs., 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Community Support Workers from The In Community as well as volunteers from the Volunteer Services at The Rehabilitation Centre are available to assist visitors with their information search.
