Renal Transplant Program

The Renal Transplant Program in the Ottawa region would like to thank the generous donor families who, at a time of tremendous grief and loss, were able to consider the needs of others and consent to organ/tissue donation.

The Renal Transplant Program would also like to acknowledge the contribution of living kidney donors who willingly gave of themselves to help their loved ones. It is because of these selfless acts that many patients afflicted with kidney failure are now enjoying a new lease on life. We are indeed fortunate to be living in such a giving community.

The Organ and Tissue Donation program deserves our praise as well for its unrelenting support of donor families throughout this process.
