If you are interested in being part of the team of health care professionals at The Ottawa Hospital, please identify the position of interest, quoting the competition number, and submit your resume by email, mail, fax as indicated below.

NOTE: Successful completion of The Ottawa Hospital Self Study Medical Terminology Program or its equivalent, as pursued through a recognized academic institution, is a prerequisite for many clerical/support positions amongst others throughout the hospital (Individual Job Postings will stipulate whether Medical Terminology is required under “Basic Requirements” when viewing “Position Details”).

The Self Study Medical Terminology Program, offered through Human Resources, equips applicants with the necessary medical background required to perform their duties at The Ottawa Hospital.


Applicants interested in clerical/support positions are encouraged to complete this Program prior to applying . For further information including study materials and test dates please contact Human Resources.
