The Ottawa Hospital is the largest employer of social workers in health care in the Ottawa region. With a staff of approximately 100 social workers there are opportunities periodically for casual or permanent employment. Positions which are currently vacant are posted on The Ottawa Hospital’s web site.

The Ottawa Hospital employs only persons who are graduates of an MSW program in clinical social work from an accredited School of Social Work. Proof of membership in the College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers is required. Applicants who are bilingual (English and French) or have experience in the health-care field will be given preference.
