November 14, 2012 – Two confirmed cases of a novel coronavirus have been identified globally since June 2012. One case was linked to a resident of Saudi Arabia, the other to a traveler to Saudi Arabia. The last case was diagnosed in late September.

This virus has only been recently identified and there is limited information on its clinical features, transmission and severity. This serves as a reminder that as we approach winter, it is important that you continue to follow our visitor guidelines and wash your hands regularly.

If you have a cough, fever, runny nose, diarrhea or other symptoms, please do not visit.
