Overview

This is a clinic staffed by nurses only, for therapeutic treatment as prescribed by a referring physician. Weekly phlebotomies will be ordered to treat any patient with hemachromatosis or polycythemia. During the series of treatments, blood test results are monitored closely until normal levels are reached. Patients are then followed up every three months in the Haematology Clinic.
