Dr. Mark Kaluzienski is the Interim Department Head, Mental Health at The Ottawa Hospital.

After completing his fellowship in pediatric developmental neuropsychiatry Dr. Kaluzienski joined TOH in 2009.  He has had the pleasure of working in almost all TOH psychiatric programs including specialized work in first episode psychosis, HIV psychiatry, and Hepatitis C/Cirrhosis.  He is currently the Medical Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services and Deputy Head of the Department of Mental Health.  In addition, he is a consultant in Concurrent Disorders at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre.  He has previously been on the board of the Canadian Psychiatric Association, the Ontario Psychiatric Association and Academy of Medicine Ottawa where he was active in organizing local and provincial conferences. He is looking forward to the EPIC challenge of interim head of Mental Health.
