Parking Information

Patient Drop-off and Pick-up is possible at the entrances at all campuses. It is limited due to the amount of traffic. Meter parking is also available at each campus to allow short-term parking for patients and visitors. It is strictly enforced.

Dialysis Patients : $35. monthly pass (all campuses)

Emergency Department Parking 
Parking at the Emergency Departments at the Civic and General Campuses is a flat rate of $6.00 from 12:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Normal parking rates apply at all other times.

Critical Care Wing (CCW) Parking
The Critical Care Wing doors and parking lot are open daily between 5:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. Use the garage and Main Building Entrance outside of these hours. Note: The Automated Pay Station is located on the main level of the Critical Care Wing next to the Information Desk. Instructions for using the Automated Pay Station.

Handicapped Parking
All visitor parking lots and meter parking have handicapped parking spaces. Parking rates for these spaces are the same as other parking rates.

Long-Term Parking
Long-term parking is available by purchasing a weekly or monthly parking pass. After buying 2 consecutive weekly passes, you can purchase an additional 2 weeks for $7.50.

Automated Parking Lots: no flat rate parking.

After Hours (see below for Hours of Operation) is a Flat Rate of $6.00 in coins. Use the automated attendant at lot exit.

Civic Campus Map:
P-1 (covered): north of the Main Entrance and south of Ruskin Street
P-2 (surface): north of Heart Institute and north of Ruskin Street
P-4 (surface): beside the Emergency Department, off Carling Avenue
P-7 (surface) Automated Parking Lot: across from Admitting, off Carling Avenue
Parking meters are located close to most entrances.

General Campus Map:
Parking garage (covered): beside the main entrance just off Smyth Rd
Parking meters are located at the main entrance to hospital.

Riverside Campus Map:
Parking lot (surface): outside the main entrance
Parking lot (surface): outside main entrance to Medical Building at 1919 Riverside.
Parking meters are located just outside of the main entrances of both buildings.

Parking passes for the general public can be purchased at the Parking Office located in the P-1 parking garage, just off Ruskin Street.

Parking passes for the general public can be purchased at the cashier's desk beside Admitting. After hours, enquire at the Information Desk. Both locations are in the main foyer across from the escalator.

Riverside Campus - Tel: 613-738-8400 ext. 82110 
Public parking passes can be purchased at the parking lot booths.

** Parking on side streets is not recommended by The Ottawa Hospital Parking Department. Time limits are very strictly enforced and tickets are issued.
