Mr. Lavigne, a chartered accountant since 1987, has over 15 years of experience as a partner in the firm of Vaillancourt, Lavigne and Ashman LLP/s.r.l. He provides income tax, accounting and business consulting services to individuals and owner-manager clients. He is also currently serving as the personnel partner.
Mr. Lavigne has actively participated in professional and community activies including Scouts, Minor Hockey and Ste-Genevieve Parish Council. Mr. Lavigne has also served as Vice President, President and Board member of the Outaouais Chartered Accountants Association and President of the Canadian Cancer Society (Russell County Unit).
He also served as community member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Governors of The Ottawa Hospital and the Accounting
Module at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. He is presently a member of the Canada Revenue Agency/Tax Practitioners
Committee (Ottawa).
Appointed for the remaining two years of a three-year term ending in 2008; re-appointed for a three-year term ending in 2011. |
